Bude and Stratton Folk Festival

Bude & Stratton Folk Festival is small friendly and very welcoming. It is held in the picturesque surroundings of Bude and nearby Stratton in North Cornwall on the late May Bank Holiday weekend. The Festival always welcomes a wide range of talented guest performers. This year these include internationally known folk artists such as Jim Causley, Jackie Oates and Liam Robinson. Port Eliot Dog Festival

Port Eliot Dog Festival and Whippet Tea Party celebrates its success in the delightful grounds of Port Eliot. Last year over seven hundred people and hundreds of dogs came along. For humans there will be an array of stalls, cream teas and other refreshments, a treasure hunt and other activities for kids, and musical entertainment from the wonderful Wurlizta band later on in the afternoon. The Dog Festival is once again being held in support of Children’s Hospice South West’s Precious Lives Appeal, raising funds to build the new children’s hospice at Little Harbour, near St Austell.
