We can accommodate up to 65 people across 8 cottages and 7 lodges/chalets.

1) Choose your venue and book your date

  • Enquire
    Share your ideal date and guest numbers with us. We’ll confirm availability, send our wedding and accommodation brochures, and provide pricing details to help you decide if Ta Mill is the perfect venue for your big day. If you’re happy to proceed, we can provisionally reserve a date for you. Complete our enquiry form here or contact us directly on 01752 371 507.
  • Meet us in person or virtually:
    Tell us your vision for your dream wedding, and we’ll help you bring it to life. Visit us in person for a tour of our stunning venue, or if that’s not possible, we can arrange a video or phone consultation.

2) Book your Ceremony Registrars

  • For a legal ceremony, book registrars via the Cornwall Council website or call 0300 1234 181. You can also email: registration@cornwall.gov.uk.
  • For non-legally binding ceremonies, hire a celebrant who can customise the service to your preferences. (Note: A separate legal ceremony may still be needed.)

3) Give notice of marriage/civil partnership at your local Register Office This must be done in person at your local registration office no earlier than 12 months before your wedding date and at least 29 days before the ceremony. Use the gov.uk tool to find your local office.

We’ll guide you through planning and recommend key suppliers to ensure your wedding day runs seamlessly.

A deposit of £500 (including VAT) is required to secure your date.

  • Perfectly Small: For up to 16 guests
  • Mini Wedding: For 17–25 guests

Yes, you are welcome to bring your own caterers! We’ll arrange a meeting with them ahead of the wedding to discuss details. We also have a list of preferred suppliers if you’d like recommendations.

Absolutely! We have a trusted list of local suppliers, including photographers, hair stylists, makeup artists, florists, and more. Some are listed here.

Yes, we offer fully licensed ceremony locations both indoors and outdoors.

Last orders at the bar and music end at 11:30 pm, and all non-staying guests must arrange taxis to leave by midnight.

  • Ceremony: Up to 100 guests outdoors or indoors.
  • Dining: Up to 60 guests for a sit-down meal in the Courtyard Room, or up to 100 guests in a hired marquee on the marquee lawn.
  • Evening Reception: 100 guests in the Courtyard Room or 150 in the marquee.

Of course! Dogs are part of the family and are welcome to join you for the ceremony.

Many couples opt for an informal gathering, such as a BBQ or pizza night in the courtyard, accompanied by music and drinks. Guests can also enjoy our fantastic spa facilities to relax before the big day.

Yes. Only Brookview Lodge 2 and Meadowview Chalet 2 are pet-free.

Yes, there is a minimum stay requirement of two nights.

Yes, we do! Discounts start from the 3rd night, with stays of 7 nights receiving up to 38% off.

Absolutely! We love welcoming our returning guests. All returning guests receive a 5% loyalty discount on their stays.

Guests can enjoy several facilities free of charge, including the games room, playground, pitch-and-putt, mini gym, and laundry room. Our spa facilities are available for a small fee and require advance booking.

Yes, parking is available in the main car park.

Yes, Ta Mill is perfect for families and groups. We also host a variety of events and celebrations. Contact us for availability and pricing.

All properties include heating, towels, linen, and a tea & coffee station. Some accommodations also feature wood burners and private hot tubs.

Yes, free Wi-Fi is available in all properties, the games room, and the courtyard.

The cottages range from 1 to 4 bedrooms, while the lodges and chalets each feature 2 bedrooms.
