On Canoe – take a scenic paddle on the River Tamar from the historic Quay at Cotehele up river, past the village of Calstock and into the wilds of the upper tidal limits. Canoeing on the River Tamar is a gentle and enjoyable outdoor activity, suitable for all types of groups from young families to large stag and hen groups.

Camel Trail

You don’t need to bring your wheels if you want to get on your bike! You can enjoy a few hours or longer on the nearby Camel Trail. Hire you bikes from Bike Smart or Bridge Bike Hire and visit Padstow without the car. The Camel Trail provides access to the beautiful Cornish countryside along a disused railway line between Wenfordbridge, Bodmin, Wadebridge and Padstow.

Launceston Golf Club is a 10 minute drive and you can enjoy coastal views from St Enodoc or Bude if you travel a little further. I would highly recommend this place to someone who are looking for a calm and quiet time out in a beautiful country-side. We stayed here for 3 nights and it was a birthday present for my husband. He loved it and we can't wait to go back again.
